Cheltenham 2012 Non-Runner No Bet

- 23 Feb 2012
The 2012 Cheltenham Festival is less than three weeks away and some of the nation’s leading bookmakers are now offering non-runner no bet on the Championship races at the meeting.

Ladbrokes and bet365 are both offering you your money back if your horse fails to show up for their intended race and it is a concession that has always been hugely important to ante post punters.

‘NRNB’ also gives you the chance to back horses that might not be running in a race, but you’d still like to make sure you bet on them.  For example, Grand Crus could still run in the Gold Cup but he might also be going for the RSA Chase.  Back him with Ladbrokes and get your money back if he doesn’t take his chance in the Gold Cup!

Ladbrokes and bet365 are currently non-runner no bet on the Stan James Champion Hurdle, Sportingbet.com Queen Mother Champion Chase, Ladbrokes World Hurdle and Betfred Gold Cup.

Betfred are also now non-runner no bet on the Gold Cup as they prepare to sponsor the race for the first time, but it is bet365 that are most likely to go non-runner no bet on every race at the meeting – something they eventually did in 2011.

Aside from the fact these bookmakers are now NRNB, they are also offering best prices on some of the Festival’s leading contenders.

You can back Sizing Europe at a massive 11/10 to win the Champion Chase with bet365 and Ladbrokes are bravely offering 9/4 on Long Run defending his Gold Cup crown.
