Cue Card cut for Arkle

Cue Card returned to winning ways in style this afternoon, beating For Non Stop by four lengths at Newbury.

StanJames.com spokesman Rory Jiwani told Bettingpro today, "We've done well by taking on Cue Card in 2011 but our luck ran out on the last day of the year. Well done to the Tizzards with their stable star settling well and looking like the winner a long way out.

"We've cut him from 20/1 to 12/1 for the Arkle Chase and 6/1 for 10/1 for the Jewson Novices' Chase. Grands Crus is the 7/2 favourite for the two-and-a-half mile race but looks to have more likely options in the RSA Chase and the Gold Cup.

"We've trimmed For Non Stop in from 16/1 to 14/1 for the Jewson and pushed out Walkon from 8/1 to 12/1. Alan King's Grade 1-winning hurdler ran disappointingly in third and we've also eased him out from 20/1 to 25/1 for the Arkle."
